A seasoned media and business development professional well versed and experienced in all aspects of modern day corporate communications from Marketing and Branding, Corporate Identity and Corporate Image, to Advertising and Publishing.
Malek possess 17 years’ experience of developing businesses including formulating and executing straight to market strategies for various business segments from Governmental, Corporate, to Privately held entities, thus acquiring a better understanding of the underlying workings and functions of these institutions and organizations, gearing that towards client acquisition and revenue generation.
Malek Holds the position of marketing and commercial affairs director at the UAEPL, in charge of devising and implement the league’s strategy, ensuring its implementation across commercial, marketing and fan retention while improving both the internal and external relationship with various government stakeholders and strategic partners. In 2019, UAEPL launched one of the largest fan engagement campaign aimed at reconnecting with its fan base and reaching out to new fans through a series of initiatives based around enhancing match day experience.
Prior to joining the UAEPL, Malek held various positions in the UAE as head of business development at ADMEDIA in charge of the broadcast arms LIVEHD, and prior to that held the role of Senior commercial manager at twofour54 the media zone authority of Abu Dhabi. Worked on some of the largest projects in the region for ADMEDIA, twofour54, MBC and executed projects Like Desert force, AGL, president Cup, H.H sheikh sultan bin Zayed festival, Asian Cup, FIFA CWC and features like Fast & Furious 7, Top Gear Abu Dhabi.
Malek also hold a broker license broker at Abu Dhabi Exchange (ADX), Dubai Financial Market (DMF).
